Software Engineer – £50k + Benefits

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join a private‑equity backed technology company in Manchester as it scales throughout 2025. You will become part of a product‑focused squad within a larger engineering function, taking ownership of features from initial idea through design, development, deployment and ongoing maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with squad members to define product requirements and technical solutions.
• Design, build and maintain REST APIs and micro‑services using C# and .NET Core.
• Develop front‑end components with React and integrate them with back‑end services.
• Implement infrastructure as code on AWS using Terraform and Docker containers.
• Drive continuous integration and delivery pipelines and ensure code quality through TDD and pair programming.

Required profile

• Open‑minded team player who values collaboration over individual heroics.
• Comfortable working in an experimental, build‑measure‑learn environment.
• Willing to work hybrid, with one day per week on‑site in Manchester.
