Software Trainer – Legal Services

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Software Trainer to design, develop and deliver IT training programmes for a growing legal services business in the West Midlands. Working closely with Change, Learning & Development and Project teams, you will support both day‑to‑day operations and major technology transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver innovative IT training programmes across multiple formats (classroom, virtual, blended).
• Create engaging training materials, user guides and learning resources.
• Provide onboarding, refresher and system‑specific training sessions.
• Evaluate training effectiveness, gather feedback and drive continuous improvement.
• Support users during system roll‑outs and technology change initiatives.
• Maintain training records and monitor learning activity.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs and develop appropriate solutions.

Required profile

• Confident communicator with a passion for learning and development.
• Strong technical understanding of business systems.
• Previous experience delivering IT or software training in a professional services environment; legal sector experience is a plus.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Relevant training qualifications or certifications desirable.
