About the role
We are looking for a Solicitor/Associate to join our Residential Development team in Chelmsford. The role sits within the Real Estate division and supports national and SME residential developers and registered providers through the acquisition, sale and development of land.
Key responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate contracts, deeds, advice notes and other legal documents tailored to client needs.
- Maintain direct communication with clients, advisers and relevant stakeholders.
- Manage an active caseload, delivering efficient and effective legal advice.
- Participate in marketing and networking initiatives to promote the practice.
- Take ownership of personal financial performance, demonstrating a commercial mindset.
Required profile
- Completion of a recognised training contract or equivalent qualifying experience.
- Demonstrable interest and foundational knowledge in residential development, real‑estate transactions and related legal matters.
- Ability to work collaboratively with tax, planning, environmental, construction and litigation teams.
