Sourcing and Meeting Manager

About the role

Amex GBT is seeking a Sourcing and Meeting Manager to lead clients through venue and meeting sourcing, ensuring seamless logistics from start to finish. You will act as the primary liaison between clients, internal teams, and external suppliers, delivering high‑impact meeting programs across the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client calls to capture meeting requirements and exceed program expectations.
• Negotiate pricing, packages and contract terms with hotels and suppliers.
• Conduct RFPs, secure room blocks and manage logistical details.
• Oversee billing, expenses and savings in collaboration with accounting.
• Evaluate program outcomes and drive continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Support onboarding and foster a positive team environment.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in meeting management, hotel procurement or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of domestic destinations; international experience is a plus.
• Excellent listening skills and a consultative approach to client needs.
• Proactive, collaborative and passionate about relationship building.

• Cvent experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
