Spa Therapist – Part‑Time (22 hrs/week)

About the role
Lush is seeking a passionate Spa Therapist to join its Cardiff Spa Store on a part‑time basis (22 hours per week). You will deliver a range of therapeutic treatments, create a calming environment for clients, and act as a brand ambassador for Lush’s ethical and sustainable products.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver a variety of spa treatments to the highest standard, ensuring client comfort and satisfaction.
- Provide exceptional customer service, building rapport and offering expert advice on Lush products and treatments.
- Work collaboratively with the spa team, communicating effectively and supporting smooth operations.
- Promote spa treatments and retail items, upselling where appropriate to help meet business goals.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of all treatments, contraindications, benefits and after‑care advice.
- Participate in training, team meetings and promotional events, representing the Lush brand positively.
- When not treating clients, support the shop floor team, offering consultations and promoting spa services.
- Uphold strict hygiene and safety protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment.
Required profile
- NVQ Level 3 qualification in Beauty Therapy or equivalent in Holistic Therapy (including full‑body massage).
- Availability to work Fridays and at least one weekend day each week.
- Passion for representing the Lush brand, its ethics and products both on the shop floor and in the spa.
- Desirable: minimum 1 year of practical experience performing body massages and facials in a similar setting.
