Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (Full‑time)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a range of additional needs across schools in the E6 area. The role is full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 8:00‑16:00, on a temporary basis until the end of the academic year.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support to students with SEN.
• Assist classroom teachers in adapting lessons and resources.
• Monitor and record pupil progress and wellbeing.
• Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times.
• Work flexibly across multiple schools as required.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, reliable and a strong “can‑do” attitude.
• Flexible and confident working with diverse student needs.
• Experience supporting children or young people, especially those with SEN.
• Relevant degree and up‑to‑date safeguarding training (within the last year).
• Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS with online update service.
• Two professional child‑related references covering the last two years.
