Specialist Hygiene Service Technician – Haydock

About the role

Rentokil is seeking a Specialist Hygiene Service Technician to join its Haydock branch, covering Liverpool, Chester, Wirral and surrounding areas. You will deliver a wide range of hygiene and technical cleaning services, working directly with customers to resolve unique challenges on site.

Key responsibilities

• Provide reactive cleaning services including bio‑hazard, flood water damage, infection control, police and prison cell cleaning, sharps removal, trauma and crime‑scene cleaning.
• Perform technical cleaning tasks such as factory cleans, high‑level work, silo cleaning and other specialised projects.
• Work as part of an on‑call rota, adapting to changing weekly priorities.
• Offer expert advice to customers and maintain a professional image at all times.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence held for at least two years with no more than six penalty points.
• Self‑motivated, reliable, proactive and able to work independently.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work varied patterns and support business needs.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces; DBS check may be required.
