Specialist Hygiene Service Technician – Haydock

About the role

Rentokil is looking for a Specialist Hygiene Service Technician to join its Haydock branch, covering Liverpool, Chester, Wirral and surrounding areas. You will work independently, managing your own schedule while delivering a wide range of hygiene and cleaning services to commercial and institutional clients.

Key responsibilities

• Perform bio‑hazard, flood‑damage, infection‑control, police/prison cell, sharps‑removal, trauma and crime‑scene cleaning.
• Carry out technical cleaning tasks such as factory cleans, high‑level work, silo cleaning and other specialised projects.
• Work reactively in a fast‑paced environment, adapting to changing weekly priorities.
• Participate in an on‑call rota and provide expert advice to customers when required.
• Maintain a professional image and deliver exceptional customer service at all times.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence held for more than two years with no more than six penalty points.
• Self‑motivated, reliable, proactive and able to work flexible patterns.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Willingness to undergo a DBS check where required.
