Specialist Hygiene Service Technician – Haydock

About the role

Rentokil is looking for a Specialist Hygiene Service Technician to join its Haydock branch, covering Liverpool, Chester, Wirral and surrounding areas. You will work independently, managing your own schedule while delivering a wide range of hygiene and cleaning services to diverse customers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide bio‑hazard, flood‑water, infection‑control, police/prison cell, sharps, trauma and crime‑scene cleaning services.
• Carry out specialised industrial cleaning such as factory, high‑level and silo cleaning.
• Work reactively in a fast‑paced environment where assignments change weekly.
• Participate in an on‑call rota and respond to urgent customer needs.
• Offer expert advice and maintain a professional image at all times.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence held for more than two years with no more than six penalty points.
• Self‑motivated, reliable and proactive with excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Flexibility to adapt working patterns to business needs.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• May be required to pass a DBS check.
