Specialist Hygiene Technician – Bristol

About the role

Rentokil is looking for a Specialist Hygiene Technician to join its Bristol team. The role involves delivering a wide range of hygiene and cleaning services to commercial and public premises, with full training provided. No prior experience is required, making it an ideal entry‑level opportunity for motivated individuals.

Key responsibilities

• Perform reactive cleaning tasks such as biohazard decontamination, flood water damage cleanup, infection control, and crime‑scene remediation.
• Carry out specialised cleaning projects including factory, high‑level, and silo cleaning.
• Work on an on‑call rota, typically twice a quarter, and adapt to changing weekly priorities.
• Provide professional advice and exceptional customer service on site.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence held for at least two years with no more than six penalty points.
• Self‑motivated, reliable, proactive and able to work independently.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Flexibility to work varied patterns and respond to on‑call duties.
• Ability to work safely at heights and in confined spaces; DBS check may be required.
