Sports Coach – School Setting (Sheffield)

About the role

We are seeking a driven Sports Coach to join a structured school environment in Sheffield. You will deliver one‑to‑one and group coaching sessions, helping pupils develop sporting skills, stay motivated and achieve personal targets.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver clear, skills‑focused training sessions tailored to individual and group needs.
• Lead pupils through drills, fitness routines and team activities.
• Encourage resilience, focus and constructive competition.
• Monitor progress, record performance and provide feedback to staff.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents and other staff to optimise outcomes.

Required profile

• Experience in sports coaching, physical education or youth work.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Confident approach to managing groups and challenging situations.
• Proactive, independent working style and reliability.
• Enhanced DBS check on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
