SQL Report Analyst – Stockport

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic SQL Report Analyst to join a professional services client’s analytics team in Stockport. You will work collaboratively to turn raw data into actionable insights, supporting business decisions through clear reporting and visualisation.

Key responsibilities

• Create charts, reports and infographics using data visualisation tools.
• Compile, cleanse, analyse and present data from multiple sources.
• Process large, complex data sets efficiently.
• Produce monthly reports and contribute to data‑mining, forecasting and business intelligence initiatives.

Required profile

• 12+ months experience in data analysis or analytics.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and report writing, preferably with SSRS.
• BSc or higher in a data‑related discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Business Finance, Science).
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
