Staff Nurse – Acute Admission Ward (RMN required)

About the role

Davan Ward is a busy 22‑bed mixed‑sex acute admission ward caring for patients with functional illnesses. The role offers a rotational placement within the Older Adult Psychiatry service, providing a diverse and challenging environment for a qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN).

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality nursing care to patients on an acute admission ward.
• Adapt to the evolving needs of the Older Adult Psychiatry service.
• Contribute to a therapeutic ward environment and patient‑focused care.
• Support the development of colleagues and lead by example where appropriate.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and care planning.

Required profile

• Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification is essential.
• Motivated and committed to continuous improvement of patient care.
• Willingness to work in a fast‑changing, multidisciplinary setting.
• Desire to support the evolving service for elderly patients and their carers.
