About the role
We are seeking two dynamic Registered Nurses to join the Urgent Emergency Care (UEC) team in the Accident & Emergency department at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, King’s Lynn. The role involves delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred care in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
- Assess, triage and manage acute clinical situations in line with NHS protocols.
- Collaborate with multi‑professional teams to ensure safe and efficient patient flow.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of emergency care pathways.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to infection‑control standards.
Required profile
- Full registration with the UK Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Proven experience working regularly in an Emergency Department.
- Commitment to compassionate, communicative care for patients and families.
- Eligibility to work in the UK; internationally trained nurses without a passed OSCE will not be considered.
Required skills
- Competence in emergency nursing procedures and assessments.
- Ability to operate within a high‑pressure, fast‑moving clinical setting.
