Staff Nurse – Gynaecology Outpatient Clinic

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse to join our Gynaecology Outpatient Clinic team, delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred care across the Birmingham Treatment Centre and Sandwell General Hospital. You will work closely with consultants, multidisciplinary teams, patients and families in a dynamic outpatient environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide safe, evidence‑based nursing care in consultant‑led and nurse‑led clinics.
• Undertake patient assessments, observations and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Assist with minor procedures, wound care, dressings, venepuncture and cannulation as required.
• Deliver health education and advice to patients and carers.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure a positive patient experience.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality‑improvement initiatives and continuing professional development.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with current UK registration.
• Enthusiastic, patient‑focused and able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Commitment to maintaining patient dignity, privacy and confidentiality.
