Staff Software Engineer

About the role

Ravio is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to provide technical leadership as the company shifts from a traditional SaaS model to an agent‑centric platform. You will own architecture and design across the customer‑facing web app, the new agentic platform, and the shared infrastructure, ensuring durability, consistency and performance at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own system architecture across the full stack, including web, agentic services and infrastructure.
• Lead technical decision‑making, code reviews and design reviews to raise overall quality.
• Design and implement resilient, high‑throughput services that handle failure and multi‑service orchestration.
• Mentor engineers and, when desired, transition into people‑management as the team grows.

Required profile

• 8+ years of commercial engineering experience with a proven record of leading platform shifts.
• Deep system‑design expertise focused on durability, consistency, performance and observability.
• Senior‑level fluency in TypeScript and Node.js, comfortable with PostgreSQL, GraphQL and GCP‑based infrastructure.
• Experience working in a distributed monorepo and delivering quickly under product pressure.
