Staff Technical Program Manager, Operations

About the role

Monzo is redesigning customer operations by combining intelligent automation, human expertise and world‑class technology. As a Staff Technical Program Manager you will lead company‑wide, high‑impact programmes that span multiple operational domains, turning ambitious ideas into clear, measurable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end planning and execution of major product or platform programmes that cut across teams and markets.
• Define programme roadmaps, set priorities, manage trade‑offs, and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Collaborate with frontline operations, product, engineering, risk, compliance and senior leaders to drive delivery.
• Manage dependencies, timelines and sequencing of delivery while removing blockers.
• Ensure operational effectiveness and drive adoption of new ways of working across the collective.

Required profile

• Strong experience managing complex technology programmes from inception to launch.
• Exceptional communicator able to create clarity for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive organisation‑wide change without direct authority.
• Comfortable diving deep into data to make decisions in ambiguous situations.
