Stock Assistant – Retail Operations

About the role

The Stock Assistant will support the store’s inventory and operational processes, ensuring that product availability meets the high demand of Charlotte Tilbury customers. Working closely with the Stock and Operations Manager, you will help maintain seamless stock flow, accurate inventory records, and an excellent in‑store experience.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end stock ordering process in collaboration with EMEA Inventory and Supply Chain.
• Drive operational success by motivating the team to meet KPI targets.
• Protect profit through precise inventory management and monitoring of high‑volume and slower‑selling lines.
• Replenish the shop floor without disrupting customer service and support sales needs.
• Manage out‑of‑stock situations to minimise lost sales.
• Log tester usage and customer returns weekly, ordering replacements via X‑Store.
• Provide detailed updates to the Global Inventory Team as required.
• Order tools, collateral and hygiene supplies each month while adhering to budget.
• Process all deliveries accurately and promptly, escalating discrepancies to Supply Chain and EMEA Inventory.
• Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.

• Excellent organisational skills and the capacity to motivate a team.
• Clear communication skills for liaising with internal and external partners.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the X‑Store inventory management system.
