Stock Assistant – Seasonal Part‑Time Retail Role

About the role

Stock Assistants work at the forefront of our business and ensure our products are fresh while maintaining visual merchandising and cleanliness standards. We need you to be passionate, motivated and enthusiastic about showcasing our beautiful products. You need to be an excellent team player ready to hit the ground running to keep stock levels maintained during our busiest time of the year.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain visual merchandising and cleanliness standards.
• Maintain shop‑floor stock levels during peak periods.
• Process deliveries efficiently.
• Adhere to freshness policy and manage stock rotation.
• Handle waste management to reduce waste.
• Conduct regular stocktakes.
• Keep the stockroom and back‑of‑house areas highly organised.
• Receive introductory product and customer experience training.

Required profile

• Teamwork: capable of collaborating with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive environment.
• Communication: strong verbal skills to engage customers and provide product information.
• Adaptability: ability to adapt to changing circumstances, handle challenging situations, and work effectively under pressure.
• Problem‑solving: skill in identifying and resolving stock issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Organisation: aptitude for maintaining an organized store environment, managing inventory, and creating visually appealing displays.
