Store Assistant – Toolstation Weybridge

About the role

Toolstation, part of the Travis Perkins group, is hiring a Store Assistant for its Weybridge store in Surrey. The position is permanent and part-time, at 20 hours per week, paid £13.26 per hour. Candidates should live locally and be able to commute easily, as the store is open from 7 AM to 8 PM.

Key responsibilities

• Handle deliveries, unpack stock, keep the store clean and prepare orders
• Provide friendly, efficient service to customers and show interest in their projects
• Sell the benefits of the Toolstation Club and Trade Accounts and sign customers up
• Work in a fast-paced environment, handling both customer service and warehouse and stocking tasks

Required profile

• No retail experience needed; commitment to excellent service is enough
• A warm, friendly personality and reliability
• Flexibility to cover early starts and late finishes
• Ability to work in hot summers and cold winters
