Store Manager – Healthcare Retailer (Full‑time)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead a premium healthcare retail store in Taunton. The role offers a Monday‑to‑Friday daytime schedule with no evenings or weekends, allowing you to focus on delivering excellent customer service and driving sales.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team to achieve the highest levels of sales and service.
• Ensure a customer‑centric environment where staff consistently engage with shoppers.
• Make commercial decisions that improve store performance.
• Conduct appraisals, performance reviews and manage staff development.
• Oversee daily operations, productivity and delivery targets.
• Recruit, induct and train new team members.
• Monitor business performance, identify under‑performing areas and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• Proven retail management experience, preferably in a healthcare or similar sector.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of driving team success.
• Customer‑focused mindset and ability to inspire staff.
• Commercial awareness and ability to interpret sales data.
• Excellent communication and decision‑making abilities.
