Store Manager – Retail

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead a growing retail outlet in Wilmslow. You will be the face of the store, delivering excellent customer service while driving sales and maintaining high standards across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day store operations and ensure a clean, safe, and well‑presented environment.
• Handle customer enquiries via phone, email and in‑person, converting leads into sales and reservations.
• Build strong relationships with personal, business and local trade customers.
• Drive store performance against revenue, conversion and satisfaction targets.
• Promote additional products and services such as packaging and insurance.
• Manage administration, contracts, payments and customer account records accurately.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing or supervising a customer‑facing sales environment.
• Confident working towards sales targets and KPIs.
• Organised, reliable and able to handle a varied workload.
• Commercially aware with strong attention to detail.
• Positive, hands‑on attitude and willing to get involved in all store areas.

What we offer

• Basic salary of £28,000‑£30,000 per year.
• Monthly bonus typically worth £5,000‑£6,000, giving realistic earnings of £35,000‑£36,000.
