Store Manager – Retail Leader

About the role

Mountain Warehouse is seeking an energetic Store Manager to lead a store team, drive sales and ensure an exceptional customer experience. You will own the store’s overall success, from meeting targets to creating a positive, energising environment.

Key responsibilities

• Leadership & Team Development – motivate the team, foster a positive culture, address employee relations and provide tools for exceptional service.
• Operational Excellence – oversee daily store operations, maintain visual merchandising standards, ensure health & safety compliance and manage staffing.
• Sales & Performance – implement strategies to meet sales targets, drive KPIs, manage budgets and embed loss‑prevention processes.
• Customer Experience – lead by example to deliver memorable service, handle feedback, build brand loyalty and engage with the local community.

Required profile

• Passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences.
• Confident, experienced retail manager who motivates and empowers teams.
• Skilled at managing diverse personalities with diplomacy and adaptability.
• Excellent communicator able to convey expectations and feedback clearly.
