Structural Project Engineer – Temporary Works

About the role

Our client, an award‑winning consultancy, is seeking a Structural Project Engineer with Temporary Works experience to join their structures department. Based in Bournemouth, you will work on a variety of projects, ensuring designs are safe, compliant and delivered on time.

Key responsibilities

• Produce engineering designs that meet project specifications, national standards and statutory regulations.
• Manage design delivery within budget and programme constraints.
• Provide technical support to construction teams on live projects, tenders and development work.
• Maintain accurate invoicing schedules and monitor project financials.
• Build and sustain relationships with clients, design teams and key stakeholders.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in structural or civil engineering design.
• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of Eurocodes, British Standards and CDM regulations.
• Experience working with contractors, architects and multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management processes.
