Study Physician (Full-Time) – London

About the role

hVIVO is seeking a qualified Study Physician to join its London team. You will oversee the screening, assessment, and clinical management of participants in human challenge studies focused on respiratory viruses, ensuring compliance with protocol, SOPs, and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and supervise clinical procedures in accordance with study protocols and ICH GCP guidelines.
• Obtain and document informed consent, maintaining rigorous ethical standards.
• Provide clinical expertise and support to the study team, including training and supervision of junior staff.
• Manage subject medical histories, medication usage, and ensure eligibility criteria are met.
• Maintain accurate source documentation, CRFs, and update internal databases.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to meet sample collection timelines and ensure safe discharge of subjects.

Required profile

• Medical degree with full GMC registration.
• Experience in clinical trial conduct, preferably in respiratory or infectious disease studies.
• Strong knowledge of ICH GCP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work independently and maintain professional boundaries with study participants.
