About the role
Winnipeg School Division is seeking qualified substitute French teachers for the 2025-2026 school year. This casual position will place you in various schools across the division, allowing you to support diverse student populations while gaining valuable classroom experience.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver French language instruction in accordance with the school curriculum.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
- Adapt lesson plans as needed to meet the needs of different classrooms.
- Collaborate with regular teachers and staff to ensure continuity of instruction.
Required profile
- Hold a valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate (or be eligible for certification).
- Pass a clear Child Abuse Registry check and Police Information Check.
- Commit to the division’s Employment Equity principles and inclusive practices.
