Supervisor – Outsourcing & Accounts – Entertainment

About the role

Join a leading accountancy firm that serves high‑profile clients in the media and entertainment sector. As an Assistant Manager you will oversee day‑to‑day finances for a portfolio of entertainers, production companies and related businesses while supervising junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee bookkeeping for individuals and companies, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and quarterly VAT returns.
• Act as a business manager for high‑profile clients, handling personal finance matters.
• Execute month‑end accounting and prepare or review management accounts.
• Prepare and review statutory accounts for limited companies under FRS 102 1A and FRS 105 (desirable).
• Manage entertainment‑specific tax issues such as withholding tax, FEU returns and Creative Industry Tax Reliefs.
• Provide ongoing advice on accounts, taxes and obligations, liaising with the tax team as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience at a UK accountancy firm.
• ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Live within a commutable distance of London.
• Current role as Outsourcing Supervisor/Assistant Manager or Accounts/Outsourcing Senior seeking progression.
• Experience working with entertainment‑industry clients is essential.
