About the role

Hays Education is seeking qualified teachers to join a range of primary schools in Deal on a supply basis. The role offers both short‑term and long‑term placements, allowing you to deliver engaging Key Stage 2 lessons while supporting pupils as they prepare for secondary education.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver stimulating KS2 lessons that cater to a variety of abilities.
• Monitor and promote academic progress, encouraging independence and resilience.
• Maintain a positive, well‑managed classroom environment.
• Build constructive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of each school and cohort.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Proven experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
• Ability to motivate and inspire learners of all abilities.
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
• Flexibility and commitment to achieving positive outcomes for pupils.
