Supply Planning & Performance Manager

About the role

We are supporting a growing FMCG manufacturer that is investing heavily in transforming its supply chain and planning function. As a Supply Planning & Performance Manager you will improve planning performance, optimise inventory and help build a best‑in‑class planning capability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead initiatives to improve forecasting performance, inventory optimisation and product availability.
• Analyse SKU, category and product performance to identify commercial and operational improvement opportunities.
• Develop inventory planning strategies to reduce waste, improve stock productivity and optimise working capital.
• Design and implement planning governance, KPI reporting and performance‑management frameworks.
• Build stronger alignment between Commercial, Procurement, Logistics, Manufacturing and Finance teams.
• Lead continuous‑improvement projects across forecasting, replenishment, planning and inventory management.
• Develop executive dashboards and present planning performance, risks and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Drive measurable operational and financial improvements through enhanced planning disciplines.
• Lead and develop the Master Data & Demand Planning Administrator while improving planning data governance.
• Help shape the future supply planning function by recommending new processes, controls and ways of working.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supply planning, demand planning, inventory management or supply‑chain performance.
• Strong background in FMCG or food manufacturing environments.

What we offer

• Competitive salary of £60,000–£70,000 per year (equivalent day rate, inside IR35).
• Hybrid working model – three days on‑site in Surrey.
