Supply Primary Teacher – Flexible Days

About the role

Join Hays as a Supply Primary Teacher, working in local primary schools across the North West. You will enjoy the flexibility to choose day‑to‑day assignments or longer‑term cover, fitting teaching around your personal commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the primary curriculum to classes on a supply basis.
• Provide short‑term or long‑term cover for teachers as required.
• Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.
• Adapt lesson plans quickly to meet the needs of each school.

Required profile

• At least 2 months of teaching experience within the past 4 years (including university placements).
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
• Qualified with a PGCE, QTS or QTLS. If not, you may register as a Teaching Assistant or cover supervisor with 1 month of recent experience working with children.
