Supply Primary Teacher – Part‑time (Day Rate)

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic supply teachers to step into primary classrooms across Arundel and surrounding areas. You will deliver high‑quality teaching, support student learning and maintain a positive classroom environment. Assignments range from single‑day cover to longer‑term placements, giving you flexibility to match your schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across a range of primary year groups.
• Assess and record student progress in line with school policies.
• Manage classroom behaviour and create a safe learning atmosphere.
• Adapt quickly to new school settings and follow each school's procedures.
• Provide feedback and collaborate with permanent staff as needed.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Positive, proactive and adaptable approach to teaching.

Required skills

• Lesson planning and delivery.
• Classroom management.

• Knowledge of the primary curriculum.
