Supply Teacher – Various Schools in Warrington

About the role

Prospero Teaching is seeking qualified Supply Teachers to provide cover across a range of primary, secondary and SEND schools in Warrington. You will be deployed on a day‑to‑day basis or for longer‑term assignments, teaching classes from Reception through to KS5.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver planned lessons and adapt content to meet each school’s curriculum.
• Maintain effective classroom behaviour and a safe learning environment.
• Provide full‑day, half‑day or individual lesson cover as required by the host school.
• Follow each school’s policies, safeguarding procedures and reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure continuity of learning for pupils.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS, PGCE, PGDE, EYFS or equivalent.
• Previous experience working in a UK school.
• Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS (online update service preferred).
• Two professional references covering the last two years.
• Current CV and up‑to‑date safeguarding training (or willingness to undertake training).

Required skills

• Strong behaviour management abilities.
• Capability to teach across a wide age range (Reception to KS5).
• Flexibility to adapt quickly to different school settings.

What we offer

• Minimum daily rate of £140, negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
• Full‑time and part‑time opportunities, with typical hours 8:30 am‑3:15 pm.
