Support Coordinator Driver (Male) – Preston

About the role

We are seeking a caring and dynamic individual to join our Preston Intensive Support Service as a Support Coordinator Driver. In this role you will combine direct support for adults with learning disabilities and challenging behaviours with the responsibility of travelling across the Preston area to deliver services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide outcome‑focused support that enables clients to maintain tenancies, engage with the community and lead fulfilling lives.
• Manage rota, induct new staff and supervise team members as required.
• Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and occasional sleep‑ins.
• Participate in on‑call duties and administer medication safely.
• Travel to client locations using your own vehicle, ensuring punctual and reliable service delivery.

Required profile

• Demonstrated commitment to positive communication and unconditional regard for service users.
• Experience in needs assessment, proactive risk management and support planning.
• Valid, up‑to‑date UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively and adapt to changing schedules.
