About the role
NHS Scotland is recruiting a Support Secretary for a full-time permanent position within the Ophthalmology Service at the National Treatment Centre Highland. The successful candidate will provide secretarial support to Medical Secretaries, Ophthalmology Co-ordinators, Consultants and the wider clinical team, contributing to high-quality patient care in a supportive and professional environment.
Required profile
- Proven secretarial experience
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work accurately and effectively in a busy environment
- A keen eye for detail and a flexible approach to work
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Good knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong communication skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively
