Support Worker – Disability Care (Female)

About the role
This part‑time, temporary position supports a 19‑year‑old client with cerebral palsy who uses a wheelchair. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, personal care, and facilitating community outings.
Key responsibilities
- Provide personal care, including moving and handling assistance.
- Administer medication as prescribed.
- Support the client in community trips, shopping, and social activities.
- Assist with daily routines such as reading, music, and television.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided.
Required profile
- Previous experience supporting young people or adults with complex needs (e.g., cerebral palsy, acquired brain injury, epilepsy).
- Full clean UK driving licence (manual or automatic) and reliable vehicle.
- Ability to pass an enhanced DBS check and provide satisfactory references.
