Support Worker – Explore Scottish Isles

About the role

We are seeking experienced Support Workers to join block‑booked placements across the Western Isles, Argyll & Bute, Orkney and Shetland. You will provide essential care to vulnerable adults in remote, community‑based settings while enjoying the unique lifestyle of Scotland’s islands.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver personal care, including bathing, dressing and toileting.
• Administer medication safely and accurately.
• Perform moving and handling tasks in line with health‑and‑safety standards.
• Support residents in homecare, residential care homes or supported‑living environments.
• Maintain accurate records and complete required administrative duties.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months UK‑based experience as a Support Worker.
• Valid UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.
• Willingness to work full‑time (45‑70+ hours per week) for a minimum of three months.
• Commitment to working in remote island communities.
