Support Worker – Scotland (Bank Service)

About the role

We are looking for reliable and honest support workers to join our team in Elgin, Scotland. You will work with 17 individuals who have learning disabilities, mental health needs and physical disabilities, helping them achieve their personal goals and enjoy a range of activities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personalised support to individuals, promoting independence and wellbeing.
• Assist with daily living tasks, anxiety management, and behaviour support.
• Facilitate and participate in activities such as karaoke, baking, BBQs, garden parties, discos, day trips and holidays.
• Work flexible shifts, including floating daytime hours (7:30 am‑10 pm) and overnight shifts (10 pm‑7 am).
• Build trust and a safe environment for service users.

Required profile

• Reliability and honesty with a strong commitment to service users.
• Excellent communication skills with staff and service users.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts and adapt to service needs.
• Willingness to support individuals with anxiety, past trauma and challenging behaviours.
