Supported Housing Service Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Supported Housing Service Manager to lead our supported accommodation services for a not‑for‑profit housing association. You will be responsible for ensuring safe, person‑centred housing and delivering positive outcomes for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage hostel and supported housing services, overseeing tenancy sustainment, housing management and safeguarding.
• Develop and support Team Leaders, Coordinators and Support Coaches, promoting trauma‑informed and psychologically informed approaches.
• Monitor and report on KPIs such as occupancy, rent collection, arrears and overall service performance.
• Manage budgets, income performance and financial controls, ensuring compliance with policies and legislation.
• Handle safeguarding issues, complaints and risk management, and participate in an on‑call rota for emergencies.
• Build partnerships with local authorities, community organisations and external agencies.
• Identify and implement service improvements and operational efficiencies.

Required profile

• Extensive management experience within supported housing, social care or related services.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop teams.
• Strong understanding of homelessness, housing support and the needs of vulnerable individuals.
• Experience delivering tenancy referrals, assessments, placements and providing practical housing advice.
