Swim Instructor

About the role

The British Swim School is opening its first location in downtown Manchester, NH and is looking for energetic swim instructors to teach children and adults of all ages. You will deliver fun, progressive lessons using the school’s proven aquatics curriculum while helping families feel confident in the water.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver swim lessons to groups and individuals according to British Swim School standards.
• Maintain required certifications and complete all mandatory training.
• Follow the class schedule set by the Aquatics Manager, including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Interact with swimmers, parents, and guardians, providing feedback and encouragement.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive pool environment throughout each shift.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (or in progress).
• Enthusiastic, energetic personality with a passion for working with kids.
• Comfortable in and around water; strong swimming ability is a plus.
• Willingness to maintain certifications and complete all training.
• Positive attitude, lots of energy, and a desire to have fun while teaching.
