Systems Administrator II – Global Infrastructure Support

About the role

The Systems Administrator II provides operational support for a team that manages large‑scale building management and physical security systems. Work is ticket‑driven, requiring systematic resolution of issues across server, network, and physical infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot server and network hardware, including fiber/optic cables and related components.
• Manage circuit move, add, change, and disconnect (MACD) orders throughout their lifecycle.
• Coordinate and execute vendor technician activities for servers, circuits, and maintenance.
• Install and verify physical layer cabling according to defined matrices.
• Provide ongoing production‑environment support and liaise with vendors, system owners, and operations teams.
• Track requests, generate weekly status reports, and maintain implementation documentation.
• Participate in on‑call rotation for ad‑hoc troubleshooting and regional maintenance tasks.
• Maintain and improve server, circuit, and spares inventory databases.
• Handle vendor queries, create colocation shipment records, and schedule onsite technician access.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in datacenter or enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Familiarity with ITIL best practices and equipment lifecycle processes.
• Proven ability to follow detailed Method of Procedure (MOP) documents.
