Systems & Cloud Engineer

About the role

This is a hybrid Systems & Cloud Engineer position based in London. You will work on identity, access, security, automation and cloud design, shaping how the organisation’s platforms are built and operated.

Key responsibilities

• Manage IAM, access controls and identity lifecycle processes.
• Maintain SSO and automated provisioning across SaaS platforms.
• Administer Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 and Slack Enterprise Grid.
• Manage Windows and macOS devices through MDM.
• Support AWS cloud accounts, networking, permissions and security.
• Apply Zero Trust principles across access, endpoints and cloud services.
• Monitor platform health and improve reliability.
• Automate operational tasks and reduce manual work.
• Support infrastructure‑as‑code and CI/CD initiatives.
• Review systems for cost, performance and reliability optimisation.

Required profile

• Strong AWS experience, including access, networking, security and account management.
• Deep understanding of Identity and Access Management.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust principles and secure access design.
• Experience with JumpCloud, Okta or another IdP/MDM platform.
• Proficiency with SSO, SAML, OIDC, SCIM and automated provisioning.
• Administration of Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.
• Windows and macOS endpoint management via MDM.
• Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, Bash or Google Apps Script.
• Good knowledge of networking, DNS, VPCs and traffic security.
• Practical approach to cost, performance and reliability optimisation.
• Full right to work in the UK and strong written and spoken English.
