Talent Management Assistant

About the role

A&L Goodbody, a leading law firm in Northern Ireland with five international offices, is recruiting a Talent Assistant to support the Talent function for its Belfast office. It is a generalist HR role offering exposure across the full range of HR activities within a supportive, friendly and collaborative team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a quality, professional HR administration service and administer and maintain HR systems so that HR information is accurate and timely
• Assist with recruitment and selection, including annual summer intern, apprentice and traineeship processes, and help manage the traineeship programme
• Monitor absenteeism and leave records, and administer new joiner and leaver processes
• Help organise work experience, induction and employee engagement and D&I projects
• Administer employee benefits, payroll, annual bonus and salary processes
• Champion diversity, equality and inclusion values, co-ordinate talent sessions on training and mentoring, submit equality monitoring reports and support ad-hoc HR projects
• Carry out filing and other administrative or compliance duties

Required profile

• Strong administrative skills
• Understanding of confidentiality
• Ability to stay calm under pressure, highly organised with excellent time management
• Strong verbal and written communication and teamwork skills
• Proactive, professional attitude with attention to detail
