HR Business Partner Apprenticeship (CIPD Level 5)

About the role

Babcock offers a two-year Human Resources Business Partner Apprenticeship in Devonport, Plymouth, starting in February/March 2027. It combines practical experience in people management with the CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management, delivered through Avado Learning. The salary starts at £24,249 with annual increases.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse people data and prepare reports
• Advise on policies and support recruitment and onboarding
• Contribute to employee engagement initiatives
• Work on projects such as workforce planning, organisational change, diversity and inclusion, talent and succession planning, wellbeing and process improvement
• Build stakeholder relationships and apply learning to real HR work

Required profile

• At least 5 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above including English, Maths and Science/Technology, and 3 A levels at grade C or above
• Ability to achieve and maintain BPSS and Security Check (SC) security clearance; eligibility may depend on place of birth, nationality, citizenship or residency
