About the role

We are looking for a Tax & Accounts Manager to deliver high‑quality tax and accounting services for a respected client in the accountancy sector. The role involves supporting the Tax & Accounts department, ensuring compliance and providing strategic advice to optimise tax positions.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Tax & Accounts department in delivering excellent client service.
• Manage tax planning and compliance for a portfolio of clients.
• Oversee the preparation and review of tax returns.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimise tax obligations.
• Lead, mentor and develop team members.
• Stay up‑to‑date with changes in tax legislation.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and professional ethics.

Required profile

• Professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA or CTA.
• Proven experience in tax and accounts management.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, compliance and related software.
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
