Tax Analyst – International Corporate Tax

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Tax Analyst to join a global leader in fibre optics and telecommunications. Reporting to the Tax Manager, you will support a high‑performing tax team and work on complex cross‑border projects involving some of the world’s largest technology companies.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the tax team with international tenders and contract follow‑up for submarine cable projects, analysing tax risks and reviewing tax/customs clauses.
• Provide support for UK VAT and corporate tax returns and help set up deferred tax assets and liabilities.
• Gather and synthesize information for tax audits and litigation in the UK and abroad.
• Participate in tax reporting, including provisions, disputes, corporate income tax charges and SOX compliance.
• Help create tax processes, documentation and update transfer‑pricing files for UK entities and overseas branches.

Required profile

• CTA, ACCA or Part‑ACCA qualification with completed taxation exams (TX).
• Experience as a Tax Associate, Analyst, Accountant or Specialist in a medium/large firm.
• Solid knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation and international tax concepts.
• Experience working on corporate, not personal, tax matters.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP.
• Advanced Excel skills.
