Tax Consultant – Hybrid, London

About the role

We are seeking a Tax Consultant to join our London team on a hybrid basis. The role will focus on designing annotation guidelines for financial data, advising engineering teams, and ensuring tax compliance within AI‑driven projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain annotation guidelines and financial data taxonomies for AI training sets.
• Advise engineering and data‑science teams on tax‑related requirements and compliance.
• Provide expertise in financial accounting, tax filing and tax return preparation.
• Identify edge cases, anomalies, potential bias and hallucinations in AI training data.
• Bridge the gap between technical solutions and current tax legislation.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience in tax accounting and filing.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, CA or CPB (or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of debit/credit concepts and business finance.
• Excellent English communication and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Audit‑oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and manage deliverables.
