Tax Manager – Deal Advisory

About the role

KPMG’s Deal Advisory Tax team in London is seeking a Tax Manager to support corporate and financial investors across the full deal lifecycle. The role involves providing market‑leading tax advice on acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures and financing transactions ranging from £10m to over £10bn.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with Partners and Directors on complex transactions to deliver exceptional advice and service.
• Support business development by contributing to proposals and participating in pitches.
• Develop and maintain client relationships across corporate, private equity, real estate and infrastructure sectors.
• Act as the primary KPMG point of contact for clients, legal advisers and internal teams to ensure coordinated delivery.
• Coach and develop junior colleagues, collaborating with peers across the network.
• Provide tax due‑diligence, structuring, modelling and documentation support for buy‑side and sell‑side engagements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in deal advisory tax or related corporate tax roles.
• Ability to work with senior stakeholders including Partners and Directors.
• Strong client‑facing and relationship management capability.
• Demonstrated willingness to mentor and develop junior team members.
• Comfortable handling cross‑border tax matters and multi‑disciplinary work streams.
