Tax Manager – Financial Services Corporate Tax

About the role

KPMG’s Financial Services Corporate Tax team is seeking a Manager to lead and deliver a variety of corporate tax engagements for banks, insurers and asset managers across the UK. The role combines advisory work, client relationship management and team leadership in a dynamic, remote‑friendly environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver corporate tax advisory services to financial services clients, including Pillar Two advisory work.
• Manage and review tax compliance deliverables where required.
• Interact directly with clients, maintaining relationships and commercial arrangements.
• Provide tax audit support for audited financial services entities.
• Contribute to business development and growth of the client portfolio.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of UK corporate tax and awareness of broader tax and accounting areas.
• Experience managing and developing junior team members.
• Ability to build and lead client relationships, ensuring financial discipline.
• Proactive approach to identifying additional service opportunities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
