Tax Manager - Global Mobility Services

About the role
KPMG is seeking a Tax Manager to join its Global Mobility Services (GMS) team in Reading (or Bristol). You will advise multinational clients on complex people‑related tax challenges, including cross‑border, remote and virtual assignments, while working alongside tax, technology, immigration and mobility experts.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a diverse portfolio of clients and lead the delivery team for each engagement.
- Maintain and develop strong client relationships, acting as the day‑to‑day contact.
- Take ownership of project finances, billing and profitability.
- Provide up‑to‑date information on GMS regulatory developments.
- Advise clients on GMS issues to ensure smooth and effective operations.
- Deliver project‑management for advisory assignments across companies of all sizes, including household‑name clients.
Required profile
- Self‑starter with an outward‑facing, confident communication style.
- Willingness to invest time and energy in building market presence.
- Readiness to assume early managerial responsibilities and work closely with partners and directors.
