Tax Manager - International Tax

About the role

We are seeking a Tax Manager to join our International Tax team in London. The role focuses on advising large inbound and outbound multinational businesses on complex corporate and cross‑border tax matters.

Key responsibilities

• Provide International Tax advisory services to help clients achieve commercial objectives.
• Deliver technically excellent advice on tax structuring, refinancing, business and legal structure optimisation, and pre/post‑transaction reorganisations.
• Handle tax authority enquiries and support tax controversy matters.
• Liaise with specialists in other departments and overseas offices to coordinate input on tax projects.
• Coach and develop junior team members.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to identify further service opportunities.
• Prepare proposals, deliver tender documents, and present at client pitches.
• Participate in business development activities with Directors and Partners.

Required profile

• ACA, CA, CTA, ACCA or equivalent qualification with strong UK corporate tax and accounting knowledge.
• Proven ability to develop, coach and lead staff and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a commercial approach.
• Proactive in identifying and progressing business opportunities.
• Ability to multi‑task across a wide range of projects and relationships.
